Tegan adores cooking; back home, she caught a good deal of the food the Clan ate, so she usually got first dibs for meals. Also meant she got to sit by the fire with her Father, or one of her aunts or uncles who did the cooking. So she’s been exposed to it quite often in her life, and when she came to Upland, she realized how much more interesting it could all be with human technologies.

So, what started with baking her own treats evolved into preparing full course meals. She may not always be the best cook/baker in the world, but she is relentless in her attempts to better herself; after all, she’s the one who has to eat it most of the time.
